Renowned lighting specialist, OSRAM and its subsidiary, auto accessory giant, Ring, have revealed their joint partnership of Tockwith Motorsport in the Southern European GT Championship.

While the companies announced the sponsorship of the reigning champions, NAPA racing team for British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) this year, OSRAM and Ring are also supporting Tockwith Motorsport, with its Ginetta G50 in OSRAM and Ring livery.

The companies decided to split the car in half for the livery, with the front half decked out in the OSRAM logo and the rear in Ring, making it a striking car that will stand out on a busy grid.

The race season has already begun with round one in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain in May and finishes in Estoril, Portugal at the end of November.

Marketing Director, Henry Bisson, commented: “We’re putting a lot of focus on the consumer side of the business this year and racing is the perfect place to target drivers that are passionate about their vehicles and the products they use in those vehicles. Tockwith Motorsport is an incredible team with a proven track record, so we’re excited to see how this season goes.”

Henry added, “We also like to supply product to the teams we’re associated with, so that they not only can get premium quality products, but we can also get feedback on them for future development. Fundamentally though, the sponsorship will generate more exposure for the vast array of products we supply, so it’s a win-win situation for all of us.”
