Ecobat Battery will be exhibiting at the CV Show, in April, where it will address the issue of battery failure and highlight a range of solutions to this increasing problem.

Battery failure has long been the number one cause of CV breakdowns, but with the fact that many companies are now operating on double, or even triple, driver shift patterns, it is not difficult to see why even original equipment fitment conventional starting, lighting & ignition  batteries are struggling to cope with the demands of continuous use. Add the cost of replacing spent batteries, with call out costs and late delivery penalty payments, and it isn’t hard to understand why it’s costing companies thousands of pounds.

Thankfully, there are solutions that both provide an extended battery service life and are affordable and the Ecobat team will be available throughout the show to talk about any general battery requirements, but would also welcome preliminary discussions regarding specific tailored solutions.

Naturally, every application has a different battery requirement and not every solution is suitable for each vehicle within a fleet, which means that multiple solutions are sometimes required to get the best from the battery and deliver the most cost effective option that also addresses the total cost of ownership.
