Japanparts adds to washer pump range

Japanparts has added to its range of washer pumps for Asian origin vehicles. The new additions mean that there are now more than 60 products available offering excellent Asian vehicle coverage at competitive prices, complete with a 36 month warranty.

The washer pump plays a fundamental role in ensuring vehicle safety, yet is often overlooked by garages. The operating life of the pump depends largely on the quality of the washing fluid used. On average, a pump should last around 5 years. This will be helped if the pump and its electrical contacts are cleaned at least once a year.

Pump faults usually develop at low temperatures in winter. If fluid has no anti-freeze properties it can freeze in the pump and cause it to malfunction.

If this happens, or replacement is required for another reason, when replacing the washer pump Japanparts recommends to fill the tank with new washing fluid and remove the excess air from the system.
