Crossover design and electric power are not things that you would generally associate with supercar maker the Lamborghini, but the Italian company has provided a hint of a different future at the recent Monterey Car Week in California.
The Lamborghini Lanzador concept is an all electric 2+2 GT crossover that is set to appear in showrooms by 2028. The design combines an SUV look with design cues from the legendary Countach.
The Lanzador will be based on the SSP Sport platform from its parent Volkswagen Group. It will be a four wheel drive, dual electric motor set-up that has the potential to produce a massive 1360hp.
Lamborghini say that the Lanzador will feature many sustainable and recycled materials, including regenerated carbon-fibre.
