2024 has been a very busy year for NAPA in the Republic of Ireland, with multiple product launches, many NAPA Auto Parts branches opening and the start of a new partnership with the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship.
Distributed by J&S Automotive Distributors, the NAPA brand first landed in Ireland in 2023 and launched 11 product categories, including Steering & Suspension, Transmission, Rotating Electrics, and Consumables. In 2024, the Ireland product catalogue was further expanded to include:
- Brake Pads, Discs, Calipers, and Accessories
- Air, Cabin, Fuel, and Oil Filters
- Thermostats and Water Pumps
- Electric Vehicle Cables
- Timing Chain Kits
- Clutch Kits
- Additives
All NAPA products are precision-engineered and rigorously tested to meet or exceed OE specifications. Reflecting this, the standard warranty for NAPA parts is 3 years or 48,000 kilometres, while consumables are protected by a 100% manufacturer’s warranty guarantee. Additionally, NAPA’s investment into comprehensive quality doesn’t stop at the point of launch. The brand is continuously seeking opportunities to expand the current product portfolio with fresh ‘New to Range’ applications, with new additions introduced every month. Over 2,000 new parts were added to existing product ranges in 2024.
With a rich heritage in motorsport in the USA and Europe, NAPA was excited to get involved in Ireland’s infamous rallying community. The brand became an associate sponsor of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship (ITRC) 2024, and it was clear to see that the all-asphalt rally series was an ideal partner for NAPA Ireland.
WRC TV broadcaster Mike Chen also got behind the wheel of Andrew Fanning’s Skoda Fabia S2500, decked out in an epic NAPA Racing livery, to take part in the Tipperary Stonethrowers Rally in July.
In spring 2024, the Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) announced a new rebranding initiative. Over 200 NAPA Auto Parts branches opened across the United Kingdom, unifying the company’s expansive network to create a stronger, more globally recognised brand identity.
As of October, NAPA Auto Parts can also be found in the Republic of Ireland. The launch of a new greenfield site in Baldoyle, County Dublin provided the perfect opportunity to introduce the brand to the Irish market. Further sites opened in Tipperary and Galway soon after, and exciting plans are underway to expand the network throughout 2025.
Your local NAPA Auto Parts branch delivers a full range of OE-quality parts, consumables, tools, and workshop equipment from leading automotive brands such as; Bosch, NRF, Brembo, Valvoline, Gates, NAPA, and more.
2025 promises to be a year of continued growth. NAPA Auto Parts has proudly been named title sponsors for the 2025 season of the ITRC. Backed by an expanding Irish network of stores and product ranges, NAPA Ireland is looking forward to driving into 2025 in style.
