TechnTools.ie has introduced two new super efficient air con machines from Cooling Edge just as workshops enter their busy time for air-con service and repair. The new units are packed with advanced features to save time, money and boost efficiency. 


Cooling Edge is a leading supplier of machines in the air-con sector and has just opened its own new dedicated manufacturing plant in Parma, Italy. The company has great expertise in this field and has developed a range of premium air conditioning service stations geared to the needs of the Irish and UK markets. 

The latest Evo-Tec service stations are highly durable and efficient and offer many unique features, including: 
  • 8-point rubber mount fixing - For the weighing scale, to reduce calibration drift.   
  • Internal cone system - meaning more accurate measurement and exact charging. 
  • Condenser mount on the refrigerant scale - For accurate measurement of recovered refrigerant. 
  • Unique reverse action vacuum pump - To allow pressure test with both positive and negative pressures to the system to eliminate the possibility of a system leak.
  • Oil / Dye Injection System for Standard / Hybrid and Electric Vehicles - The use of a non-conductible oil and ultraviolet dye, in a convenient bag system, for both R134A and R1234YF systems and for all vehicles including high voltage hybrid, electric or stop/start designs.
  • Warning Light System – Gives the operators an instant signal as to the progress of the service station with simple colour coding. 
  • Pressure Gauges and Diagnostic Guides - Large 100mm, pulse free pressures gauges make it easy for the operator to identify the working pressure of the air conditioning system. This helps with quick system diagnosis. 
  • Heater Belt - A new design using electronic technology to ensure a fast charge of refrigerant to the vehicle air conditioning system.
