LIQUI MOLY has announced that its duo of managing directors, Günter Hiermaier and Dr. Uli Weller, will be supplemented by Export Director Salvatore Coniglio from September 1, 2024.

Managing Director and Commercial Director Dr. Uli Weller explains, the step to augment the company’s management board is logical and necessary, “With Salvatore Coniglio, we have welcomed a very experienced colleague with international foresight and sensitivity to the management team. We operate in around 150 countries, so an additional top manager is essential and will give our healthy growth course even more momentum. He knows all the business sections very well and has an excellent network. This will enable us to meet the requirements of our stakeholders even better.”

Export Director Salvatore Coniglio has been with the company for almost 23 years and is  already Managing Director of five of LIQUI MOLY’s foreign subsidiaries. He commented, “It is of course something very special to now bear even more responsibility for our company and the brand. Above all, I would like to be there for our co-entrepreneurs, our ‘LIQUI MOLY family worldwide’, to further boost our international orientation. Integrating closeness to the customers and partners from all over the world even more into the top management level is both a great challenge and an opportunity. I’m really looking forward to it.”

Günter Hiermaier emphasised the long-term aspect of expanding the management team, saying, “I am very pleased that we have been able to win over Salvatore Coniglio for this role. We are growing sustainably and may already achieve our strategic target of a billion euros in sales this year, which was originally set for 2025. We therefore wanted to act proactively and prepare for the future. Our national and international management bodies are broader and deeper than ever before, and everyone knows their area and the associated challenges very well. Now we can make decisions even faster and more efficiently.” He continued: “Since we have a tradition of anything but neglecting our German-speaking home market, we have also given our Sales Director for Germany and Austria, Günther Wengert, who is responsible for six sales lines with confidence and success, power of attorney. This also gives us more scope for action and, of course, more trust. All in all, we are in an excellent position and are therefore optimistic about the future with our customers and partners. Because, as with almost everything we do, it is ultimately their full satisfaction that we always strive for.”
