Refinish specialist Cromax has introduced a brand new, small and powerful spectrophotometer to its stable of digital colour tools. ChromaVision Pro Mini is considerably smaller than its predecessor making it perfect for one-handed operation.
Kevin Welling, Training Academy Manager for Axalta Coating Systems says, “The true innovation lies in the new measurement technology, which allows for faster and more accurate readings of both the colour and the effect. Simply put, ChromaVision Pro Mini is a better way to match colours and that impacts positively on bodyshops’ productivity. Faster, right-first-time colour matches mean faster throughput. Refinishers who use ChromaVision Pro Mini will benefit from optimised work flow processes, helping to save time.”
The pressure touch screen with the latest colour touch technology on the ChromaVision Pro Mini can be used with a stylus or with a fingertip, even inside a work glove. And the screen rotates, so a right-handed or a left-handed person can use it comfortably. The device’s special LED light technology assists the optics for accurate colour measurement during use.
ChromaVision Pro Mini comes with its own cradle for charging so there is no need for cables. For convenience, the cradle also stores the calibration tiles, and the new internal rechargeable batteries hold the charge longer.
The device’s new coloured LED lights keep the refinisher informed of what the device is doing: blue indicates the reading is in progress, green means the reading has been successful and red means the measurement should be taken again. ChromaVision Pro Mini has been specifically designed to work in harmony with ChromaWeb, the comprehensive colour retrieval and product management cloud-based software from Cromax.
