With welding and joining technology changing dramatically, a growing number of bodyshops in Ireland have looked to upgrade their welding equipment in recent times. One of the most popular choices has proved to be the CTR7 Resistance Spot Welder from Car-O-Liner.


The CTR7 is a radical new generation welding machine that offers bodyshops of all sizes flexibility and efficiency in their welding. Reflecting its advanced technology the unit looks very different to normal welders and can provide users with a host of benefits as well as reduced cycle times.

The CTR7 has a powerful output of up to 12,000 amps meaning it can tackle the toughest welding jobs. It also features an ultra strong cable arm with adjustable height, a telescopic support arm and an optional integrated balancer. This means the unit is suitable for higher height jobs on trucks and other larger vehicles.
