With gaining access to secure vehicle data getting more and more complex for independent garages, Bosch continues to offer a broad range of simple manufacturer access options, through the expanding coverage of its ESI[tronic] 2.0 Online software.

Bosch strives to ensure that the independent workshops, can continue to offer fully comprehensive vehicle diagnostics or calibration, of driver assistance systems, through its ESI[tronic] 2.0 and diagnostic devices such as the latest generation KTS system.

Bosch ESI[tronic] 2.0 Online is regularly updated and the latest update allows users to gain Secure Diagnostic Access for Volvo vehicles, with no additional charge. Updates earlier in the year also added access for Hyundai and Kia models.

The Secure Diagnostic Access solution, provided by ESI[tronic] 2.0 Online ECU diagnostic license, means that diagnostic technicians can access data that would otherwise be protected and would be only accessible through a complex registration process and many individual licenses. The latest Bosch service pack update, can provide instant access without additional registration or cost required.

Since the launch of the software in 2012, Bosch has added secure access for some 20 leading vehicle brands. Users of the KTS system with AN ES[tronic] 2.0 Diagnostic subscription already have full and free access to this information with their updated software package.
