Laser Tools has introduced a super-flexible magnetic pick-up tool to its range which has a wide range of uses around a workshop. 

The pick-up tool (part number 7026) has a 300 mm length, but features a very narrow shaft diameter of just 4 mm, which makes it ideal for retrieving metal nuts, bolts, screws and other metal pieces that have found their way into areas otherwise inaccessible. Laser says, for example, that it is narrow enough to be inserted into the glow-plug aperture to retrieve any metal swarf or broken glow-plug debris if a technician has to  drill out a seized glow plug.

The tool features a soft grip handle and fully flexible shaft that can be easily be formed into any shape that will assist in locating the dropped item. It is now available from Laser stockist.
