AkzoNobel’s recently released MIXIT web application means that the company is the first vehicle refinishes paint supplier to provide real-time updates for colour software. AkzoNobel says the move will make bodyshops work even more efficiently.
Users can access the new resource at www.MIXITcloud.com. It provides a quick and easy way for bodyshops to find the colour they want, using a search function that fits all possible keywords, in any language. AkzoNobel says it is the ideal tool for customers using any of its leading vehicle refinishes brands, including Sikkens, Lesonal, Dynacoat and Sikkens Autocoat BT.
Remco Maassen van den Brink, AkzoNobel’s Vehicle Refinishes Marketing Director says, “MIXIT is the first software of its kind to provide data updates in real-time, with a simple, fast and intelligent search, making it the most accurate colour retrieval tool available.”
MIXIT is a fully responsive web application designed to work seamlessly on smartphones, tablets and PCs. Since its launch last December approximately 50% of users have accessed the application from a mobile device or tablet.
The application has also been designed to analyse user behaviour to understand how customers can retrieve and match colours more efficiently. Every three weeks AkzoNobel uses this information to release an updated version of the application in which functionality is added and improved.
The application can be accessed at www.MIXITcloud.com. AkzoNobel products are distributed in Ireland by Synergy Vehicle Refinishing Solutions Ireland. For more information go to synergyvrsi.com
