Laser has introduced a new tool for holding a wheel hub steady when working on a drive shaft which effectively provides the technician with a third hand. The wheel hub holding tool (part number 7090) can also be bolted across a couple of wheel studs or bolts and to hold the hub steady while the axle nut is removed.

Designed for use on vehicles with 4 stud, 5 stud, 6 stud and 8 stud patterns the tool also allows the operative to hold the hub and drive shaft steady while torqueing up the shaft securing screws. It can also be used to hold rear differential yokes on solid axle vehicles during bearing service.

The hub holder features a plastic dipped handle for steady grip and for even more leverage, a 1/2” drive power bar can be fitted directly to the tool.

It is available now from Laser Tools stockists.
