Toyota offer economical options to keep cars on the road

With the age profile of Ireland’s car parc changing, as cars stay on the road for longer, the need to meet the needs of drivers on a budget has never been greater. For most garages, fitting poor quality cheaper parts is not an option as this can cause customer dissatisfaction and reputational damage.

Toyota has taken a creative approach to this issue employing various strategies to help garages and bodyshop fit quality Toyota parts, while keeping prices as economical as possible.

The Toyota TradePro programme is a prime example of this, featuring everyday low prices and special discounts that allow garages to fit genuine Toyota parts more economically. The TradePro programme feature many in-demand items with for example 40% off Toyota genuine filters for selected models when a customer purchases 10.

Another strategy that keeps cars on the road and cost under control is the Toyota Optifit Reman range. This offers a wide selection of remanufactured parts which are based on genuine Toyota originals and are produced by Toyota approved partners working to strict Toyota quality standards. The range includes; Compressors, Turbos, Alternators, Brake Calipers, Injectors, EGR Valves and more. Only OE specification materials are used to maximise the vehicle’s performance and fuel efficiency. All parts are inspected, guaranteeing an easy fit and a safe driving experience.

The programme keeps prices more affordable, ensures customers are satisfied with the quality and also offers many environmental benefits.

For cars that have been involved in an accident and assessed as being uneconomical repairs, Toyota and its dealer network can often come to the rescue of drivers, by providing additional parts and panels discounts. In this way it is often possible to negotiate with the insurer to facilitate a repair of a car that may have been written off. This is more economical and convenient for the driver and provides accident repairers with additional work. The fast and effective programme is proving especially popular at present as used car availability is limited and prices are high.
