With all new cars sold in Europe since 2012 required to have tyre pressure monitoring systems, it is now essential for garages to have the correct tools to be able to identify faults and problems with TPMS sensors.

The respective battery status symbols apply to all vehicle classes. When a sensor transmits the battery status, different information is sent depending on the manufacturer, such as low battery flag, a voltage, percentage capacity remaining, or remaining months.
With the Bartec tools if a battery power is more than a quarter a green checkmark appears in a green circle. The battery performance is therefore guaranteed for several months to come. If a yellow battery icon appears, it indicates a low battery. This should be replaced in the next six months. If a red battery symbol is displayed, the battery status is at 10% or less and requires immediate replacement.
