With Dublin Airport often struggling for capacity in its own car parks, passengers who drive to take their flights will be pleased to hear of a major new parking facility that will come on stream in March.

Operating under the name Park2Travel, the new car park is managed by APCOA, Europe's largest parking company and is located at the old Quick-park facility next to the Carlton Hotel. The 42 Acre site will offer 6,100 parking spaces which have been out of action since the old car park closed due to the pandemic in 2020.

It is 1.5km, or around six minutes by shuttle bus, to the terminals. Customers make a booking online and enter the car park via automated barriers, with number plate recognition.  Buses run 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

APCOA operates car parks at several airports major European and UK airports.
