AdBlue from Meat & Doria

Meat & Doria's M400 is a urea-based liquid which is used in the selective catalysis of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from exhaust gases of diesel vehicles. This AdBlue product needs to be used in vehicles equipped with an SCR system (Selective Catalytic Reduction) and is available from your local motor factor.

Vehicles with an SCR system have special separate containers for transferring AdBlue® which is introduced into the catalyst system of the vehicle in proportion 0.1% to 5% of the fuel consumed, with the ratio depending on the type and the engine of the vehicle. The small proportion ensures a longer life and allows the system to occupy less space in the vehicle.

AdBlue® is non-toxic, non-flammable and is not dangerous in handling.

Under the Euro VI standard for cars and trucks, new emission limits will come into effect in 2014 and will include the reduction of emissions of NOx by 80% and reduction of emission limits for particulate emissions by 66% compared to Euro V. This will increase the already substantial demand for AdBlue®.

Part No. M400 is available in containers of 10 litres.
