ECOBAT Battery Technologies (EBT), formally Manbat, will be at Birmingham after it enjoyed great success last year exhibiting under the Manbat banner. Although now under its new pan-European EBT name, the brands on display such as VARTA, Lucas and Numax, as well as NOCO chargers, will be instantly recognised to visitors.
EBT’s marketing manager, Myles Pemberton says that in addition to showing the latest products there will be two key messages to pass on to visitors. These will be, the impact of new technology, particularly concerning vehicle electronics and the battery, which these days is central to the entire electrical system and also installation issues and battery testing procedures.
Myles says, “We are supporting out presence on our main stand, which is situated in hall 18 (18A40), with a technical seminar presentation and another stand in the interactive workshop area.
The technical seminar, ‘Getting To Grips With Battery Technology’ will be presented by EBT technical manager John Bentley and provide and insight into the central role of the battery and how to replace and validate them into the system. It will also look at the growing number of vehicles fitted with start-stop systems, which need specialist batteries to function correctly. There will also be demonstrations of validation procedures on the EBT stands.
ECOBAT Battery Technologies stand is located at A40 in hall 18 at the NEC.
