Meeting with technicians is one of the key priorities of the First Line team and the recent GROUPAUTO AutoCare Trade Show and Conference held at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire provided a great opportunity to do just that.


Terry Fisher, Jamie Hall and Ian Boyle manned the stand and as well as being a useful place to catch up with those members who were very familiar with the products in the First Line portfolio, they also found it a great event through which to reach others who may be less familiar with the First Line and Borg & Beck product ranges.

National accounts manager, Ian Boyle, who looks after the GROUPAUTO account for First Line said: “The really useful thing about the AutoCare show was that we were able to speak directly with guys at the coalface who are actually fitting our products, which always provides a different perspective on things and allows us to make sure we do all we can do to improve our offering through GROUPAUTO members.”

He added, “In a similar way, the show also gave us the opportunity to directly demonstrate some of our products and a perfect example was the Borg & Beck clutch programme. Not only were we able to give them the practical facts, such as the market-leading size of both the CSC and solid flywheel replacement kit ranges, but they could also watch the video of our technical/testing facility in Banbury, which proved to be of genuine interest to many. So there is no question that it was a great success for us as a GROUPAUTO supplier.”
