First Line on the front line

Meeting with technicians is one of the key priorities of the First Line team and the recent GROUPAUTO AutoCare Trade Show and Conference held at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire provided a great opportunity to do just that.

Terry Fisher, Jamie Hall and Ian Boyle manned the stand and as well as being a useful place to catch up with those members who were very familiar with the products in the First Line portfolio, they also found it a great event through which to reach others who may be less familiar with the First Line and Borg & Beck product ranges.

National accounts manager, Ian Boyle, who looks after the GROUPAUTO account for First Line said: “The really useful thing about the AutoCare show was that we were able to speak directly with guys at the coalface who are actually fitting our products, which always provides a different perspective on things and allows us to make sure we do all we can do to improve our offering through GROUPAUTO members.”

He added, “In a similar way, the show also gave us the opportunity to directly demonstrate some of our products and a perfect example was the Borg & Beck clutch programme. Not only were we able to give them the practical facts, such as the market-leading size of both the CSC and solid flywheel replacement kit ranges, but they could also watch the video of our technical/testing facility in Banbury, which proved to be of genuine interest to many. So there is no question that it was a great success for us as a GROUPAUTO supplier.”
