The IAAF Annual Awards & Dinner has once again brought the UK aftermarket together with NGK claiming one of the top awards for the car sector and Valeo in CV sector.

The reinvigorated event, held for the first time at the ICC in Birmingham and sponsored by Cosan Lubricants, proved a great experience for those attending with an impressive turnout of leading aftermarket decision makers in attendance.

Playing host to the IAAF Conference in the daytime, the ICC added a completely new perspective to an event that transcends the boundaries in the aftermarket with all sectors of the supply chain able to attend, network and celebrate a year of continuous hard work and achievement.

The event also saw the announcement of the prestigious IAAF awards with the Car Supplier of Excellence awards sponsored by Impression Communications going to NGK Spark Plugs. Other award category winners were:

• Car Distributor of Excellence sponsored by DENSO- Autoparts UK
• CV Supplier of Excellence sponsored by PACT - Winner: Valeo Service Ltd
• CV Distributor of Excellence sponsored by ZF - David Huggett Motor Factors Ltd

In addition, guests were able to take part in a silent auction and make a contribution to the BEN charity, raising more than £10,000 on the night.
