MEYLE introduces MEYLE‑ORIGINAL-NOx sensor
Share:

MEYLE is celebrating its 25th anniversary as a supplier of spare parts for trucks this year and continues to add to its commercial vehicle components range. The latest addition is the MEYLE-ORIGINAL-NOx sensor.

The sensor supports optimum nitrogen oxide control and thus enables compliance with the strict emission values from Euro 5. The MEYLE-ORIGINAL-NOx-Sensor measures the nitrogen oxide (NOx) content of the exhaust gases before and after the so-called SCR-catalyst (Selective Catalytic Reduction). The SCR catalytic converter converts the harmful nitrogen oxides into harmless nitrogen and water by adding the urea solution AdBlue. At the same time, the MEYLE-ORIGINAL-NOx-Sensor enables the optimum dosage of AdBlue by the engine management system and thus an effective reduction of nitrogen oxides which are harmful to the environment and health.

The sensor has been manufactured according to strict MEYLE quality standards and OE requirements and tested for functionality and resilience to ensure the best possible performance under the extreme stresses and strains of everyday truck operation.

MEYLE ORIGINAL NOx sensors are available for various Mercedes, MAN, DAF, IVECO and SCANIA models.

MEYLE, MEYLE-ORIGINAL and MEYLE HD parts are available from stockist nationwide and are distributed in Ireland by Strongline Autoparts Limited. For more information call 01-462-4631.
