MEYLE will use the forthcoming Equip Auto 2013 show in Paris to introduce some innovative new parts that it says will allow independent workshops to score high with customers.

Technically enhanced MEYLE-HD parts will be featured prominently on the company's stand with new introductions such as HD tie rod ends to fit Peugeot and Citro?n models being launched. 

Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG the parent company of the MEYLE brand say their in-house engineers have to-date devised more than 650 parts technically superior to their OE equivalents and covering thousands of different vehicle models. Branded MEYLE-HD, these parts exceed OEM designs in terms of durability and reliability.

As a specialist in steering and suspension technology the company will be exhibiting performance-enhanced MEYLE-HD ball joints featuring a newly formulated material design. Using a wear-resistant polymeric material for the plastic socket has helped to considerably increase overall strength of the ball and socket joint. Other enhancements include a special heavy-duty grease which significantly reduces wear and tear while preventing corrosion and early joint failure.

The stand will also feature other technically enhanced products including the MEYLE-HD stabiliser link, the MEYLE-HD control arm for BMW 5, 6 and 7 Series models and the  reinforced MEYLE-HD tie rod end for DAF, Iveco, MAN, Mercedes Benz, R.V.I. and Scania applications.

In addition at Equip Auto the company will be presenting a selection from its MEYLE Asia Line, providing customers with field-proven top-grade MEYLE and MEYLE-HD parts covering virtually all applications from leading vehicle manufacturers including Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Mazda, Honda, etc. The company already supplies a full range of brake discs, brake pads and filters.  Compared with conventional brake discs, the MEYLE PD brake disc is designed with a special zinc-flake coating to provide optimal anti-corrosion protection. The special cross-hatch finish ensures fast breaking in. Supplied ready to be installed without any need for degreasing, the MEYLE disc means mechanics can save considerable time in the installation process.
