Wulf Gaertner Autoparts has introduced a new Meyle repair kit suitable for many popular vans. The kit provides workshops with an economical solution to a very common repair problem.
There are huge numbers of vans and van based people carriers on Irish roads. Many are involved in high mileage delivery or taxi work and as these vans age, they are prone to problems. The Peugeot Boxer III, Fiat Ducato and the Citroën Jumper III are particularly popular and have a common problem in that worn original bushings or stabiliser links often make it necessary to replace the entire stabilizer link assembly. Up to now this has only been available as a complete unit, making the repair expensive.
Meyle has resolved this problem and is now offering a new stabiliser link repair set (Meyle no. 11-14 615 0013/S) with all the necessary stabiliser links and bushings in a single set so that individual parts can now be replaced much more easily. This low-cost repair alternative also reduces labour time.
Also new to the Meyle CV range is a new repair kit for control arm bearing bushings on the Iveco Daily. These vehicles can sometimes develop suspicious sounding rattling from the front axle. The diagnosis is likely to be worn bearing-bushings on the control arm. The new Meyle control arm repair kit (Meyle no. 214 610 0026/S) for Iveco Daily III and IV can solve this issue simply and economically. It contains the front and rear bearing bushing for the front axle control arm, providing a low cost alternative to ordering the spares separately when both original bearing bushings are worn.
