An appeal for real life examples of the longevity and performance of Bridgestone Tyres has unearthed two very durable sets with a collective mileage of over 140,000 miles.
John Tuff, of Devon and, contacted the brand’s head office in the UK with details of the tyres on his a 2007 Mitsubishi Shogan. They have recorded 75,000 miles on the D840LZ original equipment rear tyres, while his front tyres hit the 62,000 mile mark before being replaced recently.
Meanwhile, Brian Wilde, of East Yorkshire also contacted Bridgestone. His 2010 Skoda Yeti, was fitted with Bridgestone Turanza ER300s as original equipment and the rear tyres are still going strong after 68,000 miles.
Bridgestone believe that both examples go a long way in measuring the true value of its tyres, which it believes are among the most durable in the industry.
John Tuff, commented, “I tow horse boxes, trailers and travel for long meetings regularly. It is always in 4x4 mode, so to say I am impressed is an understatement.” Brian Wilde, is also very impressed with Bridgestone’s performance, he said, “When you think of the condition of a lot of the roads right now, it is even more significant to be driving on tyres for so long. These tyres have represented better value for money than anything else I’ve purchased.”
