Aer Lingus Regional, operated by Stobart Air, has announced it has added extra capacity on its Dublin - Isle of Man route this spring.

The extra seat are to cater for Irish motorcycle racing fans travelling to the Isle of Man TT races taking place from 27 May to 9 June 2017.

The Isle of Man TT is one of the oldest and most prestigious motorcycle events in the world and is attended by approximately 40,000 people each year.

As the only airline flying directly from Dublin to the Isle of Man, Aer Lingus Regional has added 1,600 additional seats to cater for passengers looking to attend the famous event and sample the two weeks of racing and festivities. The expanded flight schedule will include three daily flights each Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 01 June to 10 June.

According to Ronan Whitty, Stobart Air’s Head of Revenue Management: “The Isle of Man TT is one of great spectacles in the European sporting calendar.  The festival offers a truly unique Isle of Man experience, combining dramatic coastline scenery, world-class competition with the famous Manx brand of hospitality.

“The additional capacity on the route will ensure greater choice and flexibility for our passengers flying to the Isle of Man, and will allow many more motorcycle racing fans the opportunity to experience this spectacular event and the beauty of the Isle of Man in the summertime.”
