Laser Tools has introduced a new multi-function aluminium pocket light that combines a 1W LED torch together with a 3W COB work lamp, and an ultraviolet lamp.

The new light (part number 8598) is powered by a USB-rechargeable 2200mAh lithium-ion battery and features a robust silver-anodised body with rubber-coated ABS plastic end caps and pocket clip. The two magnets allow the light to be easily mounted and shone where needed, while keeping the users hands free to work. The LED torch provides a strong beam of up to 100 lumens with the COB work lamp providing a 300-lumen spread. The useful addition of an ultraviolet lamp makes it ideal for use with fluorescent dyes to detect leaks in air conditioning systems, etc.

Supplied with a USB Type-C charging cable, the charging indicator glows green when fully charged. Charging time is 3 to 4 hours, with 7-10 hours work time with the torch and 3 hours work time for the work lamp.

With compact dimensions of 28mm x 111mm x 124mm, this light makes for a very useful addition to any toolbox. The 8598 multi-function pocket light is available now from Laser Tools stockist.
