MAHLE Aftermarket has recruited the highly experienced aftermarket professional Phil Ramsay to the position of Technical Sales Support Specialist. Phil will be especially involved with developing the ‘man with a van’ concept and promoting the breadth and quality of the entire MAHLE aftermarket product range.

Phil has extensive aftermarket experience and has a practical knowledge from both a parts distribution and installation perspective, having previously worked in both sales and technical support and in an independent garage.

MAHLE Aftermarket Managing Director, Jonathan Walker commented, "The idea behind the ‘man with a van’ programme is to take MAHLE, and everything its brands stand for, directly to the technicians. To really connect with those technicians, you need someone who understands the realities and challenges of the installation process. With Phil we have this, as well as someone with the communication skills to help technicians understand the importance of fitting quality parts and who can demonstrate the intrinsic quality that is part and parcel of every MAHLE Original, Knecht, Behr and Victor Reinz product we supply across the aftermarket.”

MAHLE Aftermarket has also appointed David Wootton as Quality Representative for the brand. His new responsibilities will include all aspects of quality within the aftermarket operation in addition to his existing role as operations deputy manager at the MAHLE facility in Bilston.
