Numax ready for increased Start-Stop battery demand
Share:

Batteries are the single biggest reason for roadside breakdown throughout Europe and therefore one of the fastest moving components especially at this time of year. But one noticeable shift in the aftermarket battery landscape this winter has been a fast rising demand for batteries for vehicles fitted with Start-Stop systems.

To meet this growing demand, Manbat, the company behind the highly popular Numax automotive battery range, has added two high quality Start-Stop specific batteries which are now available to motor factors and their workshop customers through National Autoparts.

Manbat’s Myles Pemberton says "With the addition of the EFB and AGM models, the Numax range can now offer an effective solution for those vehicles that require a Start-Stop compatible battery that correctly conforms to the vehicle’s specification. These two Numax additions therefore provide them with the ideal replacement for these applications and mean they have at their disposal a Numax solution for all their battery requirements.”

Demand for these Start-Stop batteries is growing by the day as the technology matures. This means that many cars that are now serviced and repaired in the independent aftermarket are fitted with these systems and when it comes to battery replacement the correct specification is vital for both performance and safety.
