Bosch has developed two new air conditioning service units. The ACS 511 and ACS 611 both feature high precision measuring technology to meet the demanding requirements of garages throughout Ireland.

Air conditioning systems have become standard equipment in most modern cars and trucks over recent years. To avoid expensive repairs, these systems need to be routinely serviced and this has become big business for workshops. However, servicing of air conditioning systems must be performed with great care, as the refrigerant usually used can be harmful to the environment.

To cope with these demands Bosch is now offering the ACS 511 and ACS 611 air conditioning service systems. These new ACS devices offer a fully automatic service, including refrigerant recovery, refrigerant recycling and refrigerant recharge. The units can be used manually, allowing the selection of individual service modes for various AC trouble-shooting.

Both the ACS 511 and ACS 611 are suitable for cars and trucks, with the integrated vehicle database ensuring quick and easy selection of specific air conditioning parameters before the service starts.

Both units are certified by the CE/PED, and also meet the requirements of the strict US SAE J-2196. The accuracy of the precision scales is + / - 5 grams and is able to measure the levels of refrigerant, UV additive, used and new oil in the fluid containers.

Day-to-day use is simple, with the units’ large wheels and practical handles. There is also a timely display of all pending maintenance activity in order to ensure that the AC service is of the highest quality. The robust trolley can be transported to any location in the workshop, making it easy to manoeuvre and store.
