WIX Racing enjoyed an encouraging start to the new Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship season, taking three points finishes from the opening three races of the year at Brands Hatch.

Adam Morgan in the his Mercedes, sponsored by WIX Filters performed consistently throughout the weekend picking up three points finishes to place him 7th in the overall championship standings.

After the event Adam said, “It’s been a good weekend for us, and to get three points finishes and be seventh in the championship with a brand new car is good going. We had work to do after qualifying, so to score in the first race was a solid start, especially as the slow puncture in the final laps meant it was a bit lairy going through Paddock Hill Bend! The team made some big changes to the car for race two to try and improve things and they did a great job; it was transformed.” He added, “We’ve got a lot of data from this weekend and now have experience of running the soft tyre, so we can head back to base and work on improvements in time for Donington.”

Round two of the series takes place at Donington Park on April 19th and 20th.
