It is believed that up to 200 jobs have been saved in Enniskillen with news of an agreement between Liberty Insurance and outsourcing company Teleperformance.

Liberty, which took over the Quinn Insurance operation in 2011, had previously announced that it was seeking a third party to run its Enniskillen offices as part of a rationalisation programme.

Teleperformance is a major operator in this field and already employs some 2000 people at centres in Bangor and Newry. It will now manage and operate the facility in Enniskillen, providing customer contact services for Liberty customers across Ireland.

Tom McIlduff, chief executive of Liberty Insurance commented, "I am very pleased to confirm the selection of Teleperformance as our customer contact service provider in Ireland. Teleperformance’s focus on providing an excellent customer experience means that the company is a great fit with Liberty Insurance’s values.”
