Maurice Ryan, a fireman from Ballina, Co. Mayo, has received €26,450 in compensation after a Tallaght dealer sold him a car which had been written-off in a crash. The Audi A3 was purchased in June of last year for €24,950 but four days later a mechanic pronounced it unroadworthy.
