A million dollar mash-up

Here is an accident that might take some explaining. What the driver might try to pass off as a small tip in a town square has become an internet phenomenon and has been branded the $1million crash.

The square in question happened to be Place du Casino in Monte Carlo and was at the time packed with some of the world’s most expensive motorcars. Enter a $363,000 Bentley Azure, driven by a young woman with two of her friends as passengers. As she drove into the square, she scraped the rear of a white $91,000 Mercedes-Benz S-Class before crashing into the nose of an $186,000 black Ferrari F430. The Bentley was then hit in the door by a $228,000 Aston Martin Rapide, while a $77,000 Porsche 911 also got entangled.

The whole million-dollar mess attracted crowds of tourists and no doubt had local repairers clambering for the six figure repair business it is thought to have generated.
