Co-operative Insurance reveals that whether you are involved in an accident or not is written in the stars. The insurer carried out a survey of some 700,00 claims over five years and found that there was a strong link between a driver’s sign of the zodiac and the chances of them having and accident.

It seems that drivers with a Sagittarius or Scorpio star sign are most likely to remain accident free, with Librans a close third. However, those born under the Aries sign are the most likely to have a crash and account for nearly 9 per cent of all road accidents, with Gemini and Taurus the next most “dangerous” signs.
