The latest innovations in ADAS calibration equipment and secure diagnostics, were two of the big attractions at the Bosch Automotive Aftermarket stand at the NEC show.
In recognition of the increasing prevalence of ADAS fitment to vehicles coming into independent workshops, Bosch devoted a large part of its stand to ADAS demonstrations and discussions. The latest developments for the established Bosch DAS 3000 platform were on show, and ADAS experts were on hand to provide demonstrations and answer questions.
Visitors could also learn about Bosch’s Secure Diagnostic Access (SDA) solution, and how it affects service, repair and diagnostics on vehicles. Bosch SDA is a single access point for secure and authorised diagnostics, with no extra charges to workshops if they have an ESI[tronic] subscription.
Members of the Bosch team also took part in training and information presentations at the workshop hubs, covering subjects such as EV/Hybrid training and the increasing complexity of diagnostics and how Bosch can help technicians overcome this.
The Bosch Car Service team were also on hand to give an insight into the benefits of joining one of the largest garage networks worldwide.
