SKODA Ireland's excellence in Aftersales has been recognised worldwide at the highest level within the SKODA brand with news that ŠKODA Ireland has been announced as 'World Importer of the Year for Aftersales'.

The award, which was presented at a special ceremony in Prague on the 3rd July, is the highest Aftersales honour within the SKODA brand that can be given to any of its importers.

Global Head of Parts & Service for SKODA Auto, Roman Havlasek said, "Loyal customers and dealer profitability are key SKODA priorities, and Ireland has managed to achieve both of these goals while at the same time delivering excellent customer satisfaction ratings and business growth. I would like to congratulate and thank the Irish SKODA network for their good work."

Commenting on the award, Head of Aftersales SKODA Ireland, Mark Hayes said, "This award is a great honour and it recognises the hard work by the entire SKODA Ireland team and the SKODA dealer network in developing our Aftersales range of services, building the Aftersales brand and delivering a world-class service to SKODA customers in Ireland."

"Aftersales is often overlooked in the overall sales and ownership cycle but it could be regarded as the most important element," adds Hayes. "The customer experience really begins after you have left the showroom and this is where we work hard to make sure every minute of SKODA ownership is as rewarding as receiving the keys in the first place."
