AkzoNobel’s Vehicle Refinishes business has made a new additive available in Europe to deliver seamless repairs to distinctive ‘Ice’ colour textured finishes. The additive is combined with Sikkens’ popular Autoclear Mix & Matt product to allow customers to provide a matt structure and finish that perfectly matches the original in texture, colour and overall effect.

The repair system can be combined with the existing Sikkens product range and has been validated by vehicle manufacturer Peugeot.

AkzoNobel’s Technical Service Manager Europe North, George Sneddon said, “Our new specialised repair solution for Sikkens has been developed to support customers dealing with the new Ice colours.
