Universal Honda has announced a partnership with international model and presenter Alison Canavan. Alison is best known for her work in Fashion, Film and TV, but more recently has come to prominence for her work in the area of parenting and children through the creation of her ‘0 to Toddler Show’. The programme brings together some of Ireland’s top childcare and parenting experts and parents of young children in an open and collaborative forum focused on early childhood learning and development.

‘I am very pleased to have Honda’s support on this initiative’ said Alison. ‘I am passionate about early childhood learning and development. As I have learnt through my own experience one size does not fit all as every child is unique. The ‘0 to Toddler show’ will give real, tangible and expert advice to parents empowering them to be the best parents they can be. I learn every day from Mums and Dads here in Ireland. I get fantastic tips and this is a great opportunity to share information and learn from each other.’

Alison also commented; Honda has a special place in my heart as my late Father Tom was a proud Honda Dealer, so the brand’s reputation for safety and reliability are values I am acutely aware of and are so important to me now that I am a mother with a young son’.

Frank Kennedy, Sales Director at Universal Honda commented ‘For many reasons we are delighted to partner with Alison on this exciting initiative. Firstly, the Honda association goes back a long way with the Canavan family and we are pleased that our partnership with Alison rekindles this tradition. Secondly, the Civic has been a very popular family car with Irish buyers for generations and its core strengths of style, reliability and safety are a great fit with the work that Alison does. We look forward to a mutually beneficial collaboration with Alison and some exciting events in Honda showrooms over the coming year.’
