There was a time in the 1930’s when aerodynamics became the order of the day for car designers with some weird and wonderful shapes hitting the roads. It seems at least one recovery operator had similar ideas as this archive picture posted on the website Biglorryblog shows.


It is apparently a truck built by the founder of Barnes Towing and Salvage of Brisbane, Australia. It was made circa 1938 and based on a Dodge chassis.
