Crown Paints Sales Manager David Dempsey will be undertaking two feats of endurance for charity in the autumn.
David and ten of his twelve brothers have already completed a charity walk of along 100km of the Camino Way in North West Spain and 8 of the brothers will be returning to do another 100km in September. The previous walk was supported by Crown, who are the distributors of Cromax, Spies Hecker and Standox refinish paints, and Crown will once again be sponsoring the brothers who self finance their own trips and travel from all over the world to attend.
In October David will also be completing a marathon in Galway when he will be joined by 200 employees from parent company of Crown paints the Hempel Group. This Group is owned by the Hempel Foundation which as well as overseeing the economic management of one of the world’s largest coatings suppliers, also makes a very significant contribution to social, charitable, educational and community based projects. This involves actively encouraging Hempel employees to take part in fund raising initiatives. As part of this some 200 Hempel staff will join David at the Galway Bay Marathon Event In October.
