Are you ready for air-con season?

Air con compressor supplier CompressorTech is urging garages to prepare for air con season and make the most of the significant opportunities this growing market presents.

Warmer weather generally bring a surge in demand for air conditioning services and garages can take some simple steps to capitalise on business potential. Marketing and promotion is one key aspect that all too many companies ignore, investing in equipment and training but failing to tell enough customers about it. Posters, leaflets, website updates, email offers and invoice notes are just some ways of generating interest.

As well as promotion garages also need to get their own house in order by checking their air conditioning machine is serviced and fully operational and that all other essential equipment and tooling is in place. Ensuring adequate stocks of consumables such as refrigerant, oil and dye is also vital.

Training is also essential as legally technicians carrying out such work now must be F-gas certified.
