Audi, Ireland delivered 1,208 cars in Ireland last month, a 24% rise on the same period in 2014.
Furthermore, the company's overall share of the Irish car market finished at 4% of a total 29,948 passenger cars sold in January.
When compared to Audi's previous best January in 2007 (1,070 cars delivered in a market of 45,803), the company significantly increased its market share.
Christian Gussen, Managing Director of Audi Ireland, said the record-breaking figures were a direct result of its dealer network investing in enhanced facilities.
Mr Gussen said: "These results are a reaffirmation of our dealer network reorganisation strategy, which has made us stronger and leaner. Our attractive model lines, and flexible finance packages are resonating with customers. Together with a recovering economy, these factors are driving our growth.
"We are seeing greater sales volume and profitability from our eleven dealer partners across Ireland, including our most recent addition in the mid-West with the opening of Audi Limerick.
"Additionally Audi Finance's popular Personal Contract Plan also gives customers a convenient way to pay for their new vehicle via monthly instalments.
"Our continuously improving product portfolio remains the bedrock for growth, with the allure and sophistication of all-new TT, A6 and A7 models helping to attract more customers and encourage sales", Mr Gussen concluded.
