A furious Chinese Lamborghini owner has hired a team of men with sledgehammers to destroy his supercar in public, after his dealer and the car importers failed to get to grips with persistent problems.

With luxury cars in China attracting very high premium prices the Gallardo L140 cost over € 500,000 in October but gave trouble from day one. Frustrated at the lack of action from the dealer the businessman arranged to have the car publicly pummelled on World Consumer Rights Day.
