When the temperature drops having access to fast drying flexible products is more important than ever in the bodyshop. With this year already proving colder than previous winters, Autopaint Supplies can offer repairers convenient solutions in the form of its Roberlo Express Winter primer and clearcoat products.

Getting a finish dry quickly can prove a challenge on colder days but the Roberlo range offers express dry products that are easy to use and produce great results. This includes; Multi filler Express, a high solid 4:1 acrylic filler that offers a very quick drying two component primer solution. Autopaint says that customer find this product offers an excellent balance between covering and fast drying. For example it can be Infra Red dried so that it is sandable and paintable in just 7 minutes or Low Bake dried at 60° so that it can be worked on in 20 minutes. The primer is also suitable for air drying when it can be sanded and over painted in as little as 75 Minutes. The primer is available in Grey (ME1) and Black (ME6). It can be used with Hardeners: P5000, standard, P6000, fast and P7000, extra fast which is especially useful in the winter months.

VT 141 Express Clear is a product that is proving very popular with refinishers across Ireland due to its very fast drying properties and high level of finish. It is a 4:1 medium solids acrylic polyurethane clearcoat that is deal for spot repair.
Originally developed for the US market (hence its gallon pack size) where lower temperatures can often provide a serious painting challenge, VT 141 Express proved such a success that it has since been added to the Roberlo European range. It is an ultra-fast clearcoat that is ideal for air drying. This adds considerable flexibility in the bodyshop and also offers the potential for fuel savings on booth running cost.  Its ultra-fast drying time is due to the combination of rapid solvents used in its formula, providing dust-free drying at 10 minutes which allows parts to be handled within 1 hour and 15 minutes at 20ºC. The clear is used with CT5 standard and CT6 fast hardener.
