AkzoNobel is offering bodyshop technicians the chance to be VIPs (Very Important Painters) and win two tickets to a Grandstand F1 race into the bargain. There is also the chance to win a personalised McLaren F1 T-Shirt, all for just posting feedback on Sikkens Autoclear 2.0 lacquer.

AkzoNobel is a sponsor and supply partner to the McLaren F1 team, giving it unique access to events in the Grand Prix calendar. Competition entrants can win tickets to an F1 race by sharing their product experience and uploading a picture on sikkensvr.com of Sikkens Autoclear 2.0. The first 200 participants will also win a T-shirt bearing their product experience quote, along with an image of the McLaren F1 car. The competition runs until November 30th and you can enter and find full details by clicking the link on the home page at www.sikkensvr.com

Based on new-patented binder technology, the Autoclear 2.0 product range offers a flexible and fast clearcoat system with outstanding through hardening. The products have met with widespread approval since their launch and the company is keen to get more feedback on performance from painters throughout Europe.

Sikkens says that using Autoclear 2.0 can increase productivity and profitability levels without compromising on a perfect OEM clearcoat appearance. This is backed up by many paint technicians. For example, painter Tom Cross comments, "This new clearcoat really makes a difference. It's fast, flexible and gives you a top-quality finish."
