Automotive trade expo specialists, Automechanika, have announced that their inaugural UK show, Automechanika Birmingham, has already sold out of exhibitor space five months before it is due to open. The organisers say 550 businesses will be exhibiting at the event which will take place at the NEC between the 7th and 9th of June.

The exhibition, originally planned for one hall, will now occupy three halls amounting to 21,000 sqm of space at the venue and will include many of the leading names in the automotive aftermarket.

The original Automechanika event at the Frankfurt Messe, has spun off 15 events around the world and the UK event will be the largest Automechanika debut show in the company’s history outside of Frankfurt.

Looking forward to the event, Simon Albert, event director of Automechanika Birmingham commented, "We are certainly on track to become the most successful automotive trade show in the UK. The response to the launch proves the need for an automotive event of this type. It is destined to become the key home for both supply chain and aftermarket companies and visitors which no other event has been able to offer.”

Automechanika Birmingham will take place from 7-9 June 2016, in halls 9, 10 and 11 at the NEC Birmingham. To find out about attending the show as a visitor and to register, visit www.automechanika-birmingham.com .
