Blackhawk seeks Irish agent

Roberts Automotive, the UK based distributor of Blackhawk bodyshop equipment, has scored some major successes in the Irish accident repair market since it took on responsibility for the renowned brand in 2013. The company is now looking to build on this success and provide enhanced coverage across Ireland by appointing and Irish based agent.

Company MD Dave Roberts says, “From my early beginnings with Blackhawk in the 1990s, Ireland was always a very healthy market with a strong and loyal Blackhawk customer base. When my company took over Blackhawk distribution in 2013, one of our first objectives was to reconnect with this customer base and make sure they knew we were there for them.” He adds, “Although we’ve had a big remarketing task on our hands, it’s been a very positive few years for us. However, being UK based means it’s not always easy to fit everything in on our scheduled visits. This means we don’t get enough chances to connect face-to-face with customers, which is something that I value and I know Irish customers really appreciate.”

To address this Dave is now looking to appoint an Irish based agent to represent the Blackhawk brand. He comments, “We’re not looking solely for a sales person, we want someone who can be that regular point of contact for customers and build strong long term relationships.” He adds, “I think it is something that would suit agents who are already calling regularly to bodyshops and are looking to enhance their portfolio with a very strong equipment offering.”
