AkzoNobel is reporting impressive results from bodyshops using its Dynacoat range of vehicle refinishing products, with the value brand proving very popular with customers.
UK based KAS Racepaint Ltd is one bodyshop that made the switch to Dynacoat six months ago. Managing Director Paul Cowern says, “Dynacoat provides everything we need in terms of colour matching and finish. The range of colour options and the agility we get to blend in all the colours we need, allows us to compete with the bigger workshops.” He adds, “The finish created with Dynacoat is fantastic, with a lacquer that feels like it’s a top class vehicle refinishes paint. We are also delighted by the ease and speed of application.” Paul was also impressed by Dynacoat’s Extra Speed accelerator which means that the bodyshop is able to handle small bumper repairs and scratches even more quickly and efficiently.
Dynacoat has been developed by AkzoNobel, alongside its premium brands, to offer independent bodyshops a lower-cost alternative for businesses dealing with work that does not require OEM approvals.
Frank Delaney, Manager Strategic Accounts, for AkzoNobel’s Vehicle Refinishes business, explains: “Our aim is to help businesses of all sizes compete successfully in the market so its great to hear first-hand how Dynacoat enables smaller bodyshops like KAS Racepaint Ltd, to enjoy the benefits of AkzoNobel’s investment in world-leading colour technology.”
