Borg & Beck is recommending that motorists replace their wiper blades annually rather than leave them to deteriorate to the point where visibility becomes compromised and safety undermined. To help motor factors and garages to communicate this important message the company has produced an informative wiper safety poster.

The poster is designed to be displayed in the reception area of a workshop or by the trade counter of a motor factor, with the aim of educating motorists about the benefits of having their wiper blades replaced every year. It highlights the common symptoms caused by worn or damaged blades and how that can affect the safety of those travelling in the vehicle every bit as much as worn tyres or brakes, as good visibility is vital for all road users.

Such is its commitment to this ‘safety first’ message, that Borg & Beck brand owner First Line is making the poster available on a complementary basis to any motor factor, workshop or fast-fit wishing to display it.

First Line added wiper blades to its Borg & Beck product portfolio last year and the range has been extremely well received. The comprehensive programme includes Conventional, Spoiler, Hybrid, Flat and Rear Blades, to provide optimum wiping solution. Each wiper in the 55-part number, five-style range is supplied with a complete selection of fitting adaptors to ensure the widest possible vehicle coverage. The wipers are manufactured from 100% natural rubber and incorporate a graphite coating to deliver a smooth, streak-free and silent operation, while also providing the additional benefit of excellent longevity.

To claim a free poster, applicants simply need to email their name, business name and address to: marketing@firstline.co.uk
