Bosch gets bigger at Automechanika 2012

Bosch will focus on several key new products and support services for garages with a new larger stand in Hall 9 at Automechanika 2012.

As a full service provider for repair shops and the trade, Bosch will be displaying its broad range of spare parts, diagnostic and repair shop technology, services and workshop franchises at the event. This will include live demos which will take place in four 'repair shops' on the stand. Two of the repair shops will look at topics relating to traditional diesel and petrol drive technologies, from diagnostics through to the repair. The focus of the third repair shop will be on new and alternative drives such as hybrid technology and e-mobility, while the fourth will be centred on the Bosch range for commercial vehicles.

A highlight of the show for Bosch will be the unveiling of Bosch 'ESI[tronic] live' Future Repair Shop Software. This provides the user with a quickly and easily guide through the repair process, from the error memory readout and an option to enter symptoms, through diagnostics and the identification of faulty components to an integrated ordering process for the required parts.

Bosch Car Service and Auto Crew will also be presented in the outdoor area in front of Hall 9, while Beissbarth chassis alignment and brake testing equipment will also be on display.
